Readership / Media Opportunities – is it waffle?


Er, well actually – yes, it’s a load of BS if you’ll excuse the acronym!

If you see either the Readership or Media Opportunities terms shown on magazine media packs or get quoted these spurious phrases by magazine reps, then you instantly should be on your guard. There are 2 figures that you only ever need to obtain when talking to magazine reps – it’s either circulation (for free mags) or quantity sold (paid-for mags).  And of course, please ask about their last audit date – better still, if we’ve managed to get round to analysing their magazine, go to our comparison tables to see the real, in-depth story.
